As the elected Vice-Chairperson of the UKEConnect Office under the United Kingdom & Eire Council for Malaysian Students (UKEC), I oversaw the management and development of the organisation’s official website, which serves over 16,000 Malaysian students across the UK and Ireland. Recognising the importance of accessibility and functionality, I led a full restructuring and revamp of the website’s user interface, ensuring a more intuitive experience for students, partners, and stakeholders. The redesign focused on improving navigation, modernising the visual design, and streamlining access to key resources such as career opportunities, student support services, and national initiatives. UKEC, as the umbrella body for Malaysian student societies in the UK and Ireland, is dedicated to fostering national unity, cultural exchange, and academic collaboration. My role in enhancing its digital platform not only strengthened engagement but also elevated the organisation’s ability to connect and serve its diverse community.
